Elliot R. Schiff is the founding partner of Schiff Gorman LLC. In addition to his career at Schiff Gorman LLC, he was formerly a founding partner of O’Connor, Schiff & Myers, a shareholder of Sweeney & Riman, Ltd. and following an outstanding legal education was selected for a judicial clerkship with Justice Francis Lorenz, Illinois Appellate Court.

Elliot’s commitment to excellence is reflected in the recognition the legal community has given him. He has received the highest ratings offered by Martindale Hubbell Peer Review ratings since 1980. Elliot is a fellow of the Litigation Counsel of America representing less than one-half of one percent of American lawyers. He is a member of the American Board of Trial Advocates, an organization that is also by invitation only. Among his peers in Illinois, he has been named as a Super Lawyer every year since 2005. Thomas G. Gorman - Founding Partner

Thomas G. Gorman, a founding partner of Schiff Gorman LLC brought a broad background to the firm. He was previously a partner in a firm with nearly 40 attorneys where his jury trials included personal injury automobile collisions, premises liability, wrongful death, medical negligence, and products liability. He understands defense strategy since he represented the interests of insurance companies, trucking companies, physicians, and manufacturers in the past. Over the last two years his pretrial mediation and arbitration awards total more than $2 million.
Tom’s achievement record did not begin in front of a jury. He was awarded a scholarship to play football at the University of Notre Dame and was a member of the 1988 National Championship team. While at Notre Dame, Tom also earned academic All-American honors.

Tom, a south-side Chicago native, has transferred his success from the playing field to the courtroom. He is an advocate of prompt resolutions and believes in giving back to those organizations that have made him successful.

Nathan I. Neff - Associate

Nathan I. Neff was born in Essen, West Germany.  He is a graduate of the Loyola University of Chicago, School of Law (2000).  In law school, Nathan won first place at the regional level and third place at the national level of the Thomas Tang Moot Court Competition.  He was also the recipient of the CALI Award for Excellence in the Labor Law, Evidence and Professional Responsibility.  He is a 1995 graduate of the University of Southern California (USC) and was honored to be the first student graduation speaker for the Political Science/International Relations major graduation ceremony in USC's history.  Nathan has been admitted to practice law in Illinois by the Illinois Supreme Court and in the United States federal court by United States District Court for the Northern District of Illinois.

Ryan T. McNulty practices primarily in the area of personal injury law focusing on automobile collisions, wrongful death, premises liability and construction negligence. Ryan obtained his B.A. from the University of Dayton, Ohio in 2006 and attended Loyola University Chicago School of Law where he received his Juris Doctor in 2010. Ryan is licensed to practice law in Illinois. He is also a member of the Illinois State Bar Association and the Chicago Bar Association.
